Asustek Computer Asustek, Selasa lalu telah menambah member baru dengan harga yang murah, di keluarga mini laptop Eee PC, setelah Asustek mendulang kesuksesan besar di pasar laptop. Asustek menjual point dari mini laptop tipis Eee PC dengan portabilitasnya.






“Mini laptop Eee PC S101 ini merupakan kombinasi dari segi industri yang inovatif dan desain artistic, plus bobotnya yang ringan hanya satu kilogram atau sekitar 2.2 pound dan dengan tebal paling tipis hanya 1.8 centimeter.”, kata kepala eksekutif Asustek, Jerry Shen.

Mini laptop Eee PC S101 dibandrol dengan harga USD 699, yang mampu berjalan di sistem operasi Microsoft Windows atau GNU Linux. Belum lagi, display 10.2 inch, yang berasal dari tenaga baterai dengan lama hidup lima jam dalam satu kali pengisian baterai, dan tentunya tahan banting. Selain itu, memori 1GB dan harddisk 30GB juga mengisi isi mini laptop. Eee PC S101 dibandrol dengan harga sekitar USD 899, dan sejak dirilis Oktober tahun lalu, mini laptop Eee OC S101 ini telah terjual sebanyak empat juta unit.
